The University of Zakho Hosts Basketball Championship for Universities

On Sunday, February 4, 2018, at 10:30 am, a "Bodybuilding Hall" was opened at the Faculty of Education by the President of the University of Zakho, Assistant Professor Dr. Lazgin A. Jameel with the presence of vice presidents of the university, deans of the faculties and colleges, and students. Then, the opening ceremony of the basketball championship for boys started.

It is worth mentioning that four universities are participating in this championship; Dohuk, Soran, Zakho, American University in Sulaimaniya. Furthermore, the opening match was between the University of Zakho and the American University in Suliamaniya in which the team of the University of Zakho won (110-56). However, the second match ended by the victory of Dohuk University against Soran University (72-60).
